Gem receives 2020 BMAF Covid Matching Grant
February 9. A short campaign in the month of December through the Blue Mountain Area Foundation Covid match ultimately yielded $45,910.00 for Athena’s Gem. At the end of a year where funding essentially dried up due to the pandemic, this money really helped the project start moving forward again. The revenue was used to purchase major appliances for two kitchens, kitchen cabinets, flooring and some labor for installation and the ever present monthly expenses.
